Ilaw is 11

Image
Ilaw just celebrated her birthday and we spent the night at Mae Ngat Dam, about 1hour 30 minutes from CHiang Mai town proper. We swam, did kayak, lazed around, read our books, relaxed, drank (alcohol for me and kigao), we were exhausted when we came back. DIRU (falling in step with me): Nanay, do we have to pay? NANAY (a bit distracted): yes, sweetheart. DIRU (Catching my hand): Awww, I wish we don't have to. So we sat down at the waiting area. DIRU: Nanay, (after struggling for quite awhile about what she wants to say, but in a sense this is what she said) when I own a hospital, the people don't have to pay. NANAY and ILAW: (still a bit...
